Speech Day
Date: 10/02/2026
Our school's annual Speech Day was held on January 16, 2026 at Shiu Kin Hall, blessed with delightful weather that provided an ideal backdrop for this special event. Clad in sharp suits and stylish outfits, the graduates gathered before the formal program began, enjoying tea and socializing with their teachers and parents.
The ceremony commenced with an opening prayer led by Prof. Allan YUEN, followed by a welcome address by our School Supervisor, the Revd. Christine HO. The principal's detailed annual report celebrated the school's accomplishments and gave recognition to the joint effort of both students and staff.
We were privileged to have Dr. Sarah S. H..Luk, our alumna who is now the Professional Consultant at the Department of Educational Psychology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Mr. Richard Y. S. TANG, GBS, JP, son of the late Sir Tang Shiu Kin, as our distinguished Guests of Honour. Dr. Luk reminisced about her wonderful school experiences and expressed gratitude to all the teachers and classmates who shaped her learning journey. In her message to the graduates, she emphasized the importance of passion, creativity, caring for others, and faith in facing future challenges. Her words reminded students that while technology evolves, these timeless values remain the foundation of a fulfilling life.
After her insightful address, she distributed certificates to the graduates, while Mr. TANG presented awards for exceptional achievements.
In the vote of thanks, the former Head Boy expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who played an important role in students’ whole-person development. The event also featured captivating performances by the school choir and orchestra, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment of the students.
As the formal proceedings concluded, the graduates took this moment to capture lasting memories with their teachers and parents through photographs. This joyful event will be fondly remembered as an extraordinary occasion. We sincerely wish our graduates all the best in their academic pursuits and hope they continue to strive for excellence and follow their dreams in life.
