Note Organization workshops for F.1 

• Activities on note-taking techniques will be conducted on a Wednesday afternoon.

• The aim is to teach F.1 students how to jot notes in some organized ways.

First Term

Preparing for DSE for F.6 (psychological support)

• Classroom activities in RS lessons

• To provide psychological support to F.6 students

First Term 

Whole-brain Learning Workshop for F.1-F.3

• A group of F.1 to F.3 students will join 6 sessions of the workshop.

-  To circulate the books to F.6 students during the reading sessions

First Term

Project A (a peer tutoring programme) for F.1-2

• F.5 students will be recruited as tutors in the 1st term. 

• Interested F.1-2 students will join the programme at the beginning of the 2nd term.

• Tutorial groups will be arranged after school.

Dec 2023

Joyful Day Camp for F.1-2 students 

• After school activities will be organized such as board games, art works, mass games, chatting with the social worker, etc.

• The hope is to build a buddy system among ‘lonely’ students and enrich their school life. 

Whole year 

Joyful activities for junior form students

• The target group will be the students from the above activities.

• The aim is to build up students’ self-esteem.

Second Term

Joyful Voluntary services (9 sessions)

• The target group will be the students from the above activities.

• The aim is to build up students’ communication and social skills.

Before Parents Day

Gratitude to parents programme for F.1

• Writing gratitude cards to parents during the Form Teacher period.

• Giving the cards to parents on Parent Day.

Jan 2024

Talk on understanding HK Correctional Services for F.2

• 2 classes of F.2 students will be picked to attend the talk in the AV room.

Second Term

Student Mental Health Support Scheme for F.4

• Consent forms will be given to F.4 students and parents.

• Online questionnaires will be conducted during the FT period.

• Individual and group interventions will be given to the selected students who need mental support. 

Second Term

Mental Health Talk for F.3-5 

• To let students think positively.

Second Term

Mental Wellness workshops for F.5

• Some stretching and mindfulness exercises will be done with F.5 students. 

2nd term

Visit Correctional Institute for F.2-4 boys

• 20 boys will be picked to join the visit.

• A sharing session will be arranged after school to help students reflect on their future.

Second Term

Pre-examination tutorial groups for F.1-2

• F.6 students will be recruited as tutors.

• Tutorial groups will be arranged. after school during the special timetable.

• Funded by the learning support grant for secondary schools.
